When the unthinkable happens…
|
When there is a crisis or trauma, the victim is not the only one that suffers. Family, friends, neighbors and even emergency responders are affected. At a time like this, emotional first aid is needed.
|
Emotional First AID (EFA) refers to the act of assisting a person who is emotionally distressed following a trauma or crisis. The person may be the primary victim, a secondary victim, or even an emergency responder. Immediately following a crisis or trauma the victim fights to regain a sense of control of his/her situation. Our responders are trained in the proper techniques for helping traumatized or emotionally distressed persons through these difficult times.

This is what “Emotional First Aid” looks like!

We have Emotional First Aid responders who have a combined total of 29 years of training and experience. These counselors work with those in need during and even immediately after searches.
